📜Questing

Quests are special PVE Actions that offer lucrative rewards and experience if they are completed successfully. Quests are optional adventures which present a variety of challenges to your Hero within the game world. Quests can be region-specific, faction-specific and even class-specific, as well as time-limited or repeatable. They are also a great source of lore for the Hero who wants to learn more about Cambria and the ongoing conflict over Aion.

Quests will vary in the types of attributes they require for success; for some it will be necessary to have a large hitpoint pool, and for others a very high damage output. Not every Hero will be well-suited to complete every Quest and this will depend on their skills, talent build, stat distribution and items.

Faction Quests

There are a variety of Factions in-game with whom Heroes can align and complete Quests for, thereby increasing their reputation and opening up opportunities for special faction-specific rewards. There are also global consequences as the aggregate behavior of players can impact the relative strength of the factions on the world map.

Regional Questing

Many Quests are only available in certain regions, and during certain times. Therefore it is a good idea to travel to different regions from time to time to see if there are any new opportunities available for your Hero to take advantage of.

Class Quests

There will also be class-specific Quests which are tied to various progression systems on your Hero, including your talent spec and your Retinue.
