The Heroes of Aion Rising are the central characters through which players experience the game. To ensure player ownership, every Hero is represented by an NFT minted on the Polygon blockchain which includes a unique 2D portrait, and all of the Hero's associated items and stats.
With three distinct classes to choose from - Warrior, Mage, and Ranger - players have the opportunity to explore diverse playstyles and gameplay.
Headstrong and proud, Warriors are the embodiment of raw power and resilience on the battlefield. With their high Strength and Vitality stats, they excel at dealing physical damage and taking hits from their opponents. Warriors are melee-type for the purposes of combat mechanics.
Strengths:
High physical damage output, bonus damage vs ranged-type
Excellent survivability due to high Armor and Max Hit Points
Can benefit greatly from Fire and Earth Affinities
Native bonus to Crafting skill
Weaknesses:
Receives bonus damage from magic-type
Lacks in spell damage, making them less effective against Magic Resistance
Lower Agility means reduced dodge and critical strike chances
The often arrogant, always dangerous Mages of Cambria draw upon their vast arcane talents to subdue rivals and manipulate environments for their own purposes. Their naturally high Spell Power and lower Hitpoints make their playstyle a double-edged sword. Mages are magic-type for the purposes of combat mechanics.

Rangers are agile combatants who rely on their speed and precision to deal damage from afar. With their high Agility, they possess an increased chance to dodge incoming attacks and land critical strikes, making them effective damage dealers. Rangers are perfect for players who enjoy a nimble and balanced playstyle.
